Robert Cohen, MD

Dr. Robert M. Cohen, a Mobile, Alabama native, attended Tulane University and received his B.S. degree from the University of Alabama and his M.D. degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) Medical Center at The Children’s Hospital, and subsequently practiced pediatrics in Birmingham for four years. He then completed a two year fellowship in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

Dr. Cohen is Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

He is the senior partner in The Allergy and Asthma Center, L.L.C. which he founded in 1986. Dr. Cohen was twice recognized by The Best Doctors in America: Southeast Region. He and his associate, Dr. Jon Stahlman, have offices in Atlanta, Lawrenceville, and Conyers. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Cohen actively participates in medical research and clinical trials.

Dr. Cohen and his wife, Jan, are the parents of five wonderful children and a growing number of grandchildren.
