Peter Scott, MD
Dr. Peter Scott received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and his medical degree, pediatric training and pediatric pulmonary fellowship from Indiana University. He completed additional pediatric pulmonary training at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. In 1980, he returned to Indiana University as assistant professor of pediatrics. He was promoted to associate professor in 1986. Dr. Scott relocated to Atlanta in 1987 and founded Georgia Pediatric Pulmonology Associates.
Dr. Scott is skilled in all areas of pediatric pulmonology. He has a special expertise in pediatric asthma and cystic fibrosis. As the Cystic Fibrosis Affiliate Program Director at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, he is helping lead the effort to improve clinical outcomes of cystic fibrosis patients in Georgia.
Dr. Scott is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Medical Association, Medical Association of Georgia and the Medical Association of Atlanta. In addition to his leadership responsibilities with the cystic fibrosis program, Dr. Scott serves as medical director of pediatric pulmonology as Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.

Dr. Scott is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is married and the father of two grown daughters. |
